CCY Staff Biographies – updated 12/6/07 Richard Gaines, Ph.D.: Dr. Richard Gaines has been a Staff Psychologist at West Bergen Mental Healthcare since 2000 and is also the current Clinical Director of West Bergen’s Anxiety Disorder Program for the Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy and the Center for Children and Youth. Danielle Weiss Heller, LCSW: Since March 2005, Danielle Weiss Heller, has served as the Clinical Director of the West Bergen Center for Children and Youth. In this role, she supervises experienced therapists for children and family services, ensures and promotes quality clinical care, and provides individual and group therapy. Prior to her arrival at West Bergen, she was Clinical Director for the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Ms. Heller received her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work. She is certified in Clinical Supervision for both social work students and provisionally licensed social workers. Ms. Heller has been trained in evidence-based treatment in the areas of child and family interpersonal trauma through Fordham University and The Vincent J. Fontana Center for Child Protection and in the Treatment of Disruptive Behaviors through Columbia University. She has also had family therapy training at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. Sofia Kondrashin, MD: Dr. Sofia Kondrashin has been a Staff Psychiatrist at West Bergen Mental Healthcare since July 2005. She received her Medical Doctor Degree from the Moscow Medical Academy in Moscow, Russia. Dr. Kondrashin performed her general psychiatry residency in the United States at North General Hospital in Manhattan, as well as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell in White Plains, New York. Prior to West Bergen, Dr. Kondrashin was a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at St. Agatha Home, a residential treatment center in Nanuet, New York. She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the American Psychiatric Association. Jeanne Marron, Ph.D.: Dr. Marron is the Clinical Director of Asperger’s Related Services at West Bergen Mental Healthcare and the West Bergen Center for Children and Youth, where she has developed a comprehensive treatment program for children and adults with Asperger’s Syndrome and similar disorders affecting interpersonal and social skills. Dr. Marron has been a member of the West Bergen clinical staff since 1993. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and pursued advanced training in neuropsychology at St Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan and the University Neuroscience Group in Staten Island. Dr. Marron has held numerous clinical, teaching and research positions in both New York and New Jersey. Ronaldo R. Naranjo: Since 2004, Ronaldo Naranjo has served as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the West Bergen Center for Children and Youth. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and a subsequent Master of Science in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University. He has over ten years of professional nursing experience including the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. Patricia Sudol, Psy.D.: Dr. Patricia Sudol, is the Program Coordinator for the Depression Intervention Clinic at the West BergenCenter for Children and Youth. She has been at West Bergen since 2003 and has served many roles including staff psychologist and therapist with experience in anxiety disorders program. She has presented on numerous topics to community organizations including teen depression and suicide, teen violence, and eating disorders. Dr. Sudol also has teaching experience at St. Thomas Aquinas College. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, New Jersey Psychological Association and Bergen County Psychological Association. Dr. Sudol received her Doctor of Clinical Psychology at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University, Bronx, New York. She has training in a number of professional development areas including Critical Incident Stress Management, First Responder Training, Child Custody Evaluations and Evidence -Based treatment for Child and Adolescent Depression. Paul Douglas Trautman, MD: Since 2004, Dr. Paul Trautman has been the Medical Director for the West Bergen Center for Children and Youth. He has held numerous hospital appointments at such academic medical centers including New York Presbyterian Hospital and New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center. In addition, he has also held academic appointments at Columbia College of Physician and Surgeons and Cornell University Medical College.
