Attention Deficit and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders are common mental health problems that can develop in children. At the Center for Children and Youth we offer behavioral therapy groups in which children can learn new skills that make it easier to deal with relationships, rules, limits and choices. We also work with families to improve communication and teach better coping techniques. When appropriate, medication which may help improve a child’s ability to pay attention and stay on task is also available. Services include:
