Paul Douglas Trautman, MD:  Medical Director of Children's Services

Since 2004, Dr. Paul Trautman has been the Medical Director for the West Bergen Center for Children and Youth.   He has held numerous hospital appointments at such academic medical centers including New York Presbyterian Hospital and New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center.  In addition, he has also held academic appointments at Columbia College of Physician and Surgeons and Cornell University Medical College.

He received his medical doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and performed his residency in general psychiatry at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. 

He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the New York State Psychiatric Association. 

Margaret King, APN, C:   Advanced Practice Nurse

Margaret King has been with West Bergen since November 2008.  Prior to this, she was an APN at Atlantic Behavioral Health in Morristown, MY since 2003. 

She also held APN positions at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville and Youth Consultation Service in Newark. 

She received her Master of Science in Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nursing from Rutgers University.

Ronaldo R. Naranjo, APN:   Advanced Practice Nurse

Since 2004, Ronaldo Naranjo has served as Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for the West Bergen Center for Children and Youth.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University, as well as a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, and a subsequent Master of Science in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from Rutgers University.

He has over ten years of professional nursing experience including the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York.

Amarjot Narula, MD:  Medical Director

Dr. Narula has been West Bergen’s Medical Director since January 1996.  He is currently on active staff at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey, as well as a serving as a consultant for Bergen Regional Medical Center. 

He received his Medical Degree from Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, India and did a psychiatry residency in Middletown, New York.

He is well regarded in his field and has lectured on numerous topics and has served on various medical committees in the local area.   He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, as well as member.  He is also a member of the American Association of Geriatric Psychiatry and the American Medical Association.  

He is a former President of the New Jersey Psychiatric Association.
