Mental Health Treatment Works!

 

Throughout the planning for a new West Bergen center in Oakland, the administration, staff, and Board of Trustees operated from the concept of constructing more than just a building. We wanted to create a Center of Excellence-the very first choice when families need help.

 

The idea of an additional building in Oakland originated three years ago when West Bergen engaged in a comprehensive Strategic Planning process. Our research showed that there are extensive mental health needs nationally --and in our region-- that are still not being met. Therefore, we are undertaking a strategic expansion of services in order to meet these needs!

 

As West Bergen undertakes this exciting expansion, we also celebrate 45 years of service to our community, one life at a time.
